BLAZE BURN OUT SENATORS
The Senators have been hot lately, but the
Blaze showed they could take the heat.  In a
wild shootout the Blaze defeated the Senators
13-10 to reclaim second place with 2 games
to play. Keeping with the current theme of short
bench wins, the Senators were extremely short
staffed, playing with only 1 substitute.  Steven
Frey had 5 goals and 3 assists to lead the
way, and Rob Roberts slammed the door shut
in goal, keeping the Senators off the board for
the final 8:32.  In other action, Jake Offner
made his debut in goal for Sound Hypnosis.
The team won their Thursday and Sunday
game to improve to 5-5 and are locked in as
the #4 seed.  The Jokers also locked up the
division and #1 seed with a win on Sunday.

STORM MAKING FINAL PUSH
The Storm are getting hot at the right time.  They
used a balance attack and were anchored by Brett
Roman's 40 saves, beating the Kamikazes 8-6 for
their 4th straight win.  The win puts a little distance
between them and the 4th place Crazy 8's.  It also
keeps their chances of a first round bye alive, 2
points behind Wesco with 2 games to play.  The
Kamikazes have dropped 4 straight with one
more game to play before the playoffs.  Also in
action, Ryan Cotcamp's ankle is far from 100%,
but it didn't stop him from slamming home 4 goals
and an assist as the Bandits skated past
Dutchess 6-4 to reclaim the top spot in Division 1.
Dutchess fell into penalty trouble, giving the
Bandits 5 power plays throughout the game.
Cotcamp scored twice on the man advantage to
capitalize.  Dutchess will play the Kamikazes in
the season finale for both teams. Get the latest  on
